Description

Camry CY-IR860 Infrared Diesel Heater Heavy-Duty Heating Solution

Deliver high-output, fuel-efficient thermal comfort to expansive commercial and industrial venues with the high-performance Camry CY-IR860 Infrared Diesel Heater (Model: CY-IR860). Complete with a high-durability flexible exhaust/duct hose attachment, this commercial-grade heating system utilizes long-wave radiant infrared technology combined with forced-air fan circulation. By warming solid surfaces, machinery, and occupants directly rather than losing energy to surrounding air currents, the Camry CY-IR860 Infrared Diesel Heater provides rapid, low-emission warmth across cold job sites, automotive workshops, industrial halls, and temporary event spaces.

The Camry CY-IR860 Far-Infrared Diesel Heater combined with a flexible exhaust/duct hose is a high-efficiency radiant heating solution designed primarily for large open or semi-open spaces, workshops, garages, and industrial areas.

Unlike traditional forced-air heaters that blow hot dust and lose heat quickly in drafty areas, far-infrared heaters emit electromagnetic heat waves that directly warm solid objects, surfaces, and people in their direct path—much like natural sunlight.

Core Specifications (CY-IR860)

Power Supply AC 220V–240V / 50Hz (Required for igniter, fan, and control circuit)
Operating Time ~18 to 25+ hours per full tank (depending on thermostat settings)
Heating Coverage ~130 – 200 m² (1,400 – 2,100 sq. ft.)
Noise Level Low (~48–52 dB, substantially quieter than forced-air torpedo heaters)

Key Operational Features

  • Far-Infrared Radiant Heat: Heats people and objects directly without stirring up dust, allergens, or drafts.

  • Odorless & Clean Combustion: Utilizes an advanced ceramic/catalytic honeycomb burner core to burn diesel almost completely, drastically reducing emissions and odor compared to standard space heaters.

  • Flexible Hose Integration:

    • Exhaust Venting: Attaching a heat-resistant stainless steel or galvanized flexible hose allows you to route exhaust fumes outdoors when operating in enclosed or poorly ventilated indoor spaces.

    • Ducting/Draft Direction: Can also be configured with high-temp flexible ducting to channel targeted warm airflow into specific work zones.

  • Digital Control Panel: Features target temperature setting, ambient room temperature displays, and a timer function.

  • Integrated Safety Mechanisms:

    • Auto-shutoff tip-over switch

    • Overheat safety sensor

    • Flame-out sensor / photo-sensor control

    • Electrical surge/fuse protection

Installation & Operating Safety Guidelines

  1. Venting with the Flexible Hose:

    • When using the unit inside a workshop, shed, or semi-enclosed area, always connect a dedicated stainless-steel flexible exhaust pipe running outside to safely discharge combustion gases.

    • Ensure the hose is securely clamped and free of sharp kinks that could restrict airflow or cause backpressure.

  2. Electrical Connection:

    • While the heat source is diesel fuel, the electronic ignition, safety controls, and internal circulation fan require a stable 220V AC outlet or a dedicated power generator.

  3. Fuel Quality:

    • Use clean, high-grade diesel or kerosene. Water or impurities in the fuel can clog the fuel nozzle, increase smoke output, or impair ignition.

  4. Clearance Around the Heater:

    • Keep combustible materials (wood, paper, cardboard, flammable liquids) at least 1.5 to 2 meters away from the front radiant plate, as surface temperatures reach high levels during operation.
